WindSpring SDK™
The WindSpring Software Developer’s Kit is based on WindSpring’s patented Data Miniaturization Technology (DMT™) and Micro Data Format (MDF™). As a highly scalable, high-performance software implementation of DMT, the software provides OEMs and their application developers with faster access and transmission speeds, full incremental update capabilities, and increased storage capacity.
The WindSpring SDK combines the capabilities of DMT and MDF in a single solution and is available to all registered WindSpring license holders.
The base SDK has been developed for Windows with additional platforms including Windows CE, Linux, BREW and Java. The software has also been successfully ported for ARM-based embedded systems commonly used in PDAs and PNDs, as well as in-dash navigation systems.
